Lessons in information culture

One of the joys of being born & raised (mostly) in Québec is the ability of speaking both French & English. In light of this, “information literacy” is one of those hard phrases to translate, but I’m seeing more and more “culture de l’information” – it has a nice ring to it.

In any case, those who read French will enjoy Olivier Le Duff’s seven lessons in information culture (on his blog, in French).

Also from France (via Olivier Le Duff’s wonderful blog), this declaration from the association of school-librarians (Fédération des enseignants documentalistes de l’éducation nationale) about information culture.
